# Create JWT Token

`POST /gartan/api/token`

## Request

Create a JWT bearer token.

## Request body `application/x-www-form-urlencoded`

- object
  - `Username` string, required: Your Credit Benchmark username
  - `Password` string, password, required: Your Credit Benchmark password
  - `grant_type` 'password', required: Grant type for authentication

## Response `200`

JWT token generated successfully

- object
  - `access_token` string: JWT access token valid for 24 hours
  - `token_type` string: Token type (always "Bearer")
  - `expires_in` integer: Token expiration time in seconds (86400 = 24 hours)

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request - invalid parameters
- `401`: Unauthorized - invalid or missing JWT token
