# Discover a creator's accounts across platforms (from one handle)

`POST /creators/discover`

## Request

Identity discovery: given ONE account, find the creator's other accounts across platforms by reading the seed's bio (link-in-bio + cross-references) and verifying matches with Google-Search-grounded inference. Returns each account with a confidence (0-1) and source. Does NOT score — pair with POST /creators/vet to score the footprint. Costs the discovery credit shown on GET /account (one live profile fetch + one web-grounded lookup) and counts against the daily discovery caps. Full-scope key required. If the daily discovery budget is exhausted, the call still returns the creator's self-declared link-in-bio accounts, sets grounded_search_skipped=true, and charges NOTHING — treat the platforms it didn't reach as UNKNOWN, not as absent.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request body.
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `402`: Insufficient credit balance.
- `403`: Read-only API key attempted to queue a fresh score (cache miss). Cached lookups and job-status reads are allowed on read-only keys; queueing requires a full-scope key. error='insufficient_scope'.
- `404`: Seed profile not found.
- `429`: Per-key rate limit hit (120 req/min). Retry after the duration in the Retry-After header.
- `503`: Discovery not configured on this deployment.
