# GET /api/transcription/

`GET /api/transcription/`

## Request

- The document declares no server URL.
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-ID` and API key in header `X-API-KEY`

Transcribe speech in an audio or video file with word-level timestamps.

Async only — POST returns immediately with a job id; poll the detail route
or supply ``webhook_url``. Billed by the length of media transcribed.

  - `status` 'pending' | 'running' | 'failed' | 'done', required: * `pending` - Pending * `running` - Running * `failed` - Failed * `done` - Done
  - `audio_url` string, uri, required: URL of the audio or video file to transcribe.
  - `language` string, required: Requested ISO-639-1 language code. Empty means auto-detect.
  - `diarize` boolean, required
  - `text` string, required: Full transcript. Empty until the job is done.
  - `language_detected` string, nullable, required: Language code of the transcribed speech.
  - `duration` number, double, nullable, required: Seconds of media transcribed.
  - `words` object[], required: Word-level timestamps. Empty until the job is done.
    - `word` string
    - `start` number: Start time in seconds.
    - `end` number: End time in seconds.
    - `type` 'word' | 'audio_event': 'audio_event' marks non-speech sounds such as (laughter).
    - `speaker` string, nullable: Speaker label. Only set when diarize is true.
  - `credits_used` number, required: Credits charged, based on the length of media transcribed. 0 when the transcription fails.
  - `failed_reason` string, required: Reason for failure if status is failed.
  - `created_at` string, date-time, required
  - `updated_at` string, date-time, required
