# Search Zillow listings

`GET /zillow/search`

## Request

Returns Zillow listing search results. Callers may pass a region id from autocomplete or a complete map bounding box. When a usable region-only response contains no listings, the API retries with a viewport from Zillow's search page if that page selects exactly the same region. Upstream blocks and transport failures return errors.

  - `page` integer: Page number returned.
  - `results` ZillowSearchItem[]: Listings and rental buildings matching the search.
    - `address` string: Full address of the property.
    - `availability_count` integer: Number of units currently available in the rental building.
    - `baths` number: Number of bathrooms.
    - `beds` number: Number of bedrooms.
    - `broker_name` string: Name of the brokerage that holds the listing.
    - `building_name` string: Name of the rental building, such as an apartment community.
    - `currency` string: Currency of the price, as Zillow shows it.
    - `days_on_zillow` integer: Number of days the listing has been on Zillow.
    - `detail_text` string: Short detail text Zillow shows with the listing.
    - `has_3d_model` boolean: Whether the listing has a 3D tour model.
    - `has_video` boolean: Whether the listing has a video.
    - `home_status` string: Listing status in Zillow's terms, such as `FOR_SALE` or `FOR_RENT`.
    - `home_type` string: Property type, as Zillow labels it, such as `SINGLE_FAMILY`.
    - `image` string: URL of the main listing photo.
    - `is_building` boolean: Whether the row is a rental building rather than a single listing.
    - `is_showcase` boolean: Whether Zillow shows the listing as a showcase listing.
    - `latitude` number: Latitude of the property, in decimal degrees.
    - `listing_sub_type` string[]: Listing subtypes that apply to the listing, such as `is_FSBA`.
    - `living_area` number: Interior living area in square feet.
    - `longitude` number: Longitude of the property, in decimal degrees.
    - `lot_area` number: Lot size, in the unit given by `lot_area_unit`.
    - `lot_area_unit` string: Unit of `lot_area`, as Zillow gives it.
    - `photos` string[]: URLs of the listing photos.
    - `price` number: Listing price, as a number. The text Zillow shows is in `price_text`.
    - `price_max` number: Highest monthly rent in the rental building.
    - `price_text` string: Listing price as text shown by Zillow, such as `$1,000,000` or `Contact Landlord`.
    - `rent_zestimate` number: Zillow's estimated monthly rent for the home (Rent Zestimate).
    - `status_text` string: Status label shown on the listing, such as `House for sale`.
    - `units` ZillowRentalUnit[]: Unit tiers of the rental building, one per bedroom count, with starting rent.
      - `beds` number: Number of bedrooms of this unit tier. `0` means a studio.
      - `price` number: Starting monthly rent of this unit tier.
      - `price_text` string: Starting rent of this unit tier as shown by Zillow, such as `$2,657+`.
    - `url` string: Zillow page URL of the listing.
    - `zestimate` number: Zillow's estimated market value of the home (Zestimate).
    - `zpid` string: Zillow property id. Use it with the property endpoint. Rental building rows carry a `latitude--longitude` identifier instead.
