# Retrieve video comments (top-level & replies)

`GET /youtube/comments/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.crawlora.net/api/v1`
- URL: `https://api.crawlora.net/api/v1/youtube/comments/{id}`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Returns one page of comments for a YouTube video by its 11-character `id`. Each comment has its id, content, author `user_name` and `channel_id`, `likes_count`, `reply_count` and `published_time`. Pass the previous response's `continuation_token` to get the next page; leave it empty for the first.

      - `channel_id` string: YouTube channel ID of the commenter.
      - `comment_id` string: YouTube ID of the comment.

      - `continuation_token` string: Token for loading the replies to this comment. Omitted when none is available.
      - `likes_count` integer: Number of likes on the comment.
      - `published_time` string: Approximate time the comment was posted, in UTC (RFC 3339).
      - `reply_count` integer: Number of replies to the comment.
      - `user_name` string: Display name of the commenter, such as `@handle`.
    - `continuation_token` string: Token to pass in the next request to get the following page.
  - `msg` string

## Other responses

- `400`: Missing or invalid parameters
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
- `500`: Internal server error
