# SofaScore universal search

`GET /sofascore/search`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.crawlora.net/api/v1`
- URL: `https://api.crawlora.net/api/v1/sofascore/search`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Searches SofaScore for teams, players, and competitions matching a free-text query. An empty `results` list is a valid response when nothing matches.

  - `data` SofascoreSearchResponse
    - `count` integer: Number of results returned.
    - `fetched_at` string: Time the data was fetched, in UTC (RFC 3339).
    - `query` string: Search query that was run.
    - `results` SofascoreSearchResult[]: Matching teams, players and other entities. Empty when nothing matches.
      - `country` string: Country of the result.
      - `id` integer: SofaScore id of the result. Which endpoints accept it depends on `type`.
      - `name` string: Name of the result.
      - `slug` string: URL slug of the result on SofaScore.
      - `sport` string: Sport the result belongs to.
      - `team_id` integer: For a player, the SofaScore id of their team.
      - `team_name` string: For a player, the name of their team.
      - `type` string: Kind of result, for example `team` or `player`.
    - `source_url` string: SofaScore URL the data was read from.
  - `msg` string

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `429`: Too Many Requests
- `503`: Service Unavailable
