# Institutional holdings (13F-HR)

`GET /sec/institutional-holdings`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.crawlora.net/api/v1`

Returns the latest 13F-HR holdings for an institutional manager (by CIK): issuer, value, shares, sorted by value.

  - `data` SecHoldingsResponse
    - `accession_number` string: SEC accession number of the 13F filing the holdings come from.
    - `cik` integer: Institutional manager's SEC Central Index Key (CIK) number.
    - `count` integer: Number of holdings returned.
    - `filing_date` string: Date the 13F was filed, in YYYY-MM-DD format.
    - `holdings` SecHolding[]: Positions from the filing, largest value first.
      - `cusip` string: CUSIP identifier of the security.
      - `investment_discretion` string: Type of investment discretion the manager holds over the position, such as `SOLE` or `DFND`.
      - `issuer` string: Name of the company that issued the security.
      - `put_call` string: Put or call, for option positions.
      - `share_type` string: `SH` when `shares` counts shares, `PRN` when it is a principal amount.
      - `shares` number: Number of shares or principal amount held, depending on `share_type`.
      - `title_of_class` string: Class of the security, such as `COM` for common stock.
      - `value` number: Market value of the position as reported in the 13F filing.
    - `manager_name` string: Name of the institutional investment manager.
    - `report_date` string: Quarter end date the holdings are reported for, in YYYY-MM-DD format.
    - `source_url` string: URL the data was read from.
    - `total_holdings` integer: Number of positions in the filing, before the `limit` is applied.
    - `total_value` number: Sum of the value of every position in the filing.
