# Get one Raising Cane's promotion's terms

`GET /raisingcanes/promotion`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.crawlora.net/api/v1`
- URL: `https://api.crawlora.net/api/v1/raisingcanes/promotion`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Returns one Raising Cane's promotion's published official terms: title and official-rules text (eligibility, prize details, effective date), exactly as the promotion's own page publishes them, as separate paragraphs in publication order. Promotion paths come from GET /raisingcanes/promotions entries. A path with no promotion at it (expired, mistyped, or the empty path some index entries carry) returns a 404.

## Query parameters

- `path` string, required

## Headers

- `x-api-key` string, required

## Response `200`

OK

- RaisingcanesPromotionResponseDoc
  - `code` integer: Code is the HTTP status code or a custom code used to indicate the result of the request @example 200
  - `data` RaisingcanesPromotionResponse
    - `description` string[]: Description is Raising Cane's own official-rules text for this promotion, kept as separate paragraphs in publication order rather than joined into one string -- unlike a menu item's short blurb, this is often multi-paragraph legal text (eligibility, prize value, effective date each their own paragraph) where the paragraph breaks carry real structure.
    - `fetched_at` string
    - `path` string
    - `source_url` string
    - `title` string
  - `msg` unknown

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `404`: Not Found
- `429`: Too Many Requests
- `503`: Service Unavailable
