# Verify a PSA certification number

`GET /psa/cert-lookup`

## Request

Looks up PSA's own public Cert Verification record for one PSA-graded card by its certification number: item title, grade, label type, reverse cert/barcode flag, year, brand/title, subject, card number, category, PSA's own price estimate, and this-cert's-own population figures (population for this exact card+grade, and pop-higher). Scoped to PSA's trading-card department; a cert number issued under a different PSA division (autographs, tickets) returns a not-found error. PSA's full Population Report and Auction Prices Realized both require a PSA/Collectors account login and are not available through this endpoint.

    - `brand_title` string: BrandTitle is the issuing brand/product line, e.g. "POKEMON SKYRIDGE".
    - `card_number` string: CardNumber is the card's number within its set, e.g. "146".
    - `category` string: Category is PSA's own item category, e.g. "TCG CARDS".
    - `cert_number` string: CertNumber echoes the requested certification number.
    - `item_grade` string: ItemGrade is PSA's graded condition for this item, e.g. "GEM MT 10", from PSA's own published grade scale (Authentic through Gem Mint 10).
    - `label_type` string: LabelType is a special label variant PSA applied to this cert, e.g. "W/ FUGITIVE INK TECHNOLOGY". Empty when the cert carries PSA's standard label.
    - `psa_estimate` string: PSAEstimate is PSA's own dollar price estimate for this exact cert+grade, PSA's own formatted string (e.g. "$135,624.00"). Empty when PSA shows no estimate for this cert.
    - `psa_pop_higher` integer: PSAPopHigher is the number of items PSA has graded higher than this cert's own grade for the same card. Nil when PSA shows no figure.
    - `psa_population` integer: PSAPopulation is the number of items PSA has graded at this exact card+grade combination. Nil when PSA shows no population figure for this cert (e.g. an ungraded/authentic-only cert).
    - `psa_population_url` string: PSAPopulationURL is PSA's own Population Report deep link for this card+grade. Informational only -- following it requires a Collectors account login; see the CertLookupResult doc comment above.
    - `reverse_cert_barcode` boolean: ReverseCertBarcode reports whether the physical label also carries a barcode on its reverse side.
    - `set_registry_note` string: SetRegistryNote is PSA's own Set Registry membership line for this cert, e.g. "This cert does not appear in any sets." when the item is not registered in any PSA Set Registry set.
    - `source_url` string: SourceURL is the PSA cert-verification page this result was parsed from.
    - `subject` string: Subject is the card's subject/player name, e.g. "CHARIZARD-HOLO".
    - `title` string: Title is PSA's own item title line, e.g. "2003 POKEMON SKYRIDGE #146 CHARIZARD-HOLO".
    - `year` string: Year is the card/item's issue year, e.g. "2003".
