# Get the global Numbeo cost-of-living country ranking

`GET /numbeo/cost-of-living/rankings-by-country`

## Request

Returns the global country-level cost-of-living ranking (Cost of Living, Rent, Cost of Living Plus Rent, Groceries, Restaurant Price, and Local Purchasing Power indices).

      - `cost_of_living_plus_rent_index` number: Numbeo Cost of Living Plus Rent Index, which combines consumer prices and rent.
      - `country` string: Country name as Numbeo shows it.
      - `groceries_index` number: Numbeo Groceries Index; a higher value means groceries cost more.
      - `local_purchasing_power_index` number: Numbeo Local Purchasing Power Index; a higher value means locals can afford more with their wages.
      - `rank` integer: Position of the country in Numbeo's cost-of-living ranking, starting at 1.
      - `rent_index` number: Numbeo Rent Index; a higher value means rent costs more.
      - `restaurant_price_index` number: Numbeo Restaurant Price Index; a higher value means meals and drinks out cost more.
    - `source_url` string: URL the data was read from.
