# Get one McDonald's item's nutrition

`GET /mcdonalds/item`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.crawlora.net/api/v1`
- URL: `https://api.crawlora.net/api/v1/mcdonalds/item`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Returns one McDonald's item's published nutrition detail: the full per-serving nutrient list (calories, protein, carbohydrates, total and saturated fat, trans fat, cholesterol, sodium, fibre, sugars, vitamins and minerals -- 21 values for a Big Mac), each with a stable machine key, a unit and a percent-daily-value where McDonald's prints one; plus the item's marketing description, allergen statement, full ingredient statement and image. Item ids come from GET /mcdonalds/menu and are market-specific, so pass the same country back. Seven markets serve this endpoint, fewer than the eight publishing a menu -- Great Britain has a menu but no nutrition surface. Combo meals legitimately carry no nutrient list. Prices are not available on this surface.

## Query parameters

- `item_id` string, required
- `country` 'us' | 'ca' | 'au' | 'ie' | 'nz' | 'ch' | 'se'

## Headers

- `x-api-key` string, required

## Response `200`

OK

- McdonaldsItemResponseDoc
  - `code` integer: Code is the HTTP status code or a custom code used to indicate the result of the request @example 200
  - `data` McdonaldsItemResponse
    - `allergens` string: Allergens is McDonald's own allergen statement for the item.
    - `country` string: Country echoes the market this item was read from. Item ids are NOT portable across markets.
    - `description` string
    - `fetched_at` string
    - `image_url` string
    - `ingredients` string: Ingredients is the full ingredient statement.
    - `item_id` string
    - `name` string
    - `nutrients` McdonaldsNutrient[]: Nutrients are the published per-serving nutrition values.
      - `daily_value` string: DailyValue is the percent-daily-value where McDonald's prints one.
      - `key` string: Key is McDonald's stable machine identifier for the nutrient (e.g. "calories"), safer to match on than the display name.
      - `name` string
      - `unit` string
      - `value` string: Value is kept as a string because McDonald's publishes values like "580", "1060" and occasionally non-numeric qualifiers; parsing to a number here would silently drop the latter.
    - `source_url` string
  - `msg` unknown

## Other responses
