# Get a Letterboxd film

`GET /letterboxd/film/{slug}`

## Request

Returns a Letterboxd film: synopsis, director, cast, genres, countries, languages, runtime, and aggregate member rating.

      - `name` string: Name of the person.

    - `directors` LetterboxdPersonCredit[]: Directors of the film.
      - `name` string: Name of the person.
      - `slug` string: Letterboxd slug of the person. Use it with the person endpoint.
    - `genres` string[]: Genres of the film.
    - `languages` string[]: Languages used in the film, as Letterboxd lists them.
    - `poster_url` string: URL of the film's poster image.
    - `production_companies` string[]: Names of the production companies behind the film.
    - `rating` LetterboxdFilmRating
      - `average` number: Average Letterboxd member rating, out of 5.
      - `count` integer: Number of member ratings behind the average.
      - `review_count` integer: Number of written reviews. Omitted when Letterboxd shows none.
    - `release_date` string: Release date of the film, in YYYY-MM-DD format.
    - `runtime_minutes` integer: Running time of the film in minutes.
    - `slug` string: Letterboxd film slug, for example `parasite-2019`. Use it with the film endpoints.
    - `source_url` string: URL the data was read from.
    - `synopsis` string: Short plot synopsis of the film.
    - `title` string: Title of the film.
    - `uri` string: Link to the film's page on Letterboxd.
    - `year` integer: Year the film was released.
