# Kalshi event metadata

`GET /kalshi/event/{event_ticker}/metadata`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.crawlora.net/api/v1`
- URL: `https://api.crawlora.net/api/v1/kalshi/event/{event_ticker}/metadata`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Returns the media and market metadata for one Kalshi event by `event_ticker`. The response has the event image and featured image, a color code and image for each market, settlement sources with name and URL, and competition context when it applies. An unknown ticker returns a not-found error.

      - `name` string: Name of the competition.

    - `featured_image_url` string: URL of the event's featured image.
    - `fetched_at` string: Time the data was fetched, in UTC (RFC 3339).
    - `image_url` string: URL of the event's image.
    - `market_details` KalshiMarketDetail[]: Display details for each market in the event.
      - `color_code` string: Display colour of the market on Kalshi, as a hex code.
      - `image_url` string: URL of the market's image.
      - `market_ticker` string: Ticker of the market the details belong to.
    - `settlement_sources` KalshiSettlementSource[]: Sources Kalshi uses to settle the event's markets.
      - `name` string: Name of the source used to settle markets, such as `The Guardian`.
      - `url` string: Link to the settlement source's website.
    - `source_url` string: URL the data was read from.
