# CoinGecko discovery search

`GET /coingecko/search`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.crawlora.net/api/v1`
- URL: `https://api.crawlora.net/api/v1/coingecko/search`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Searches CoinGecko for the required query `q` and returns matches in separate sections: `coins`, `categories`, `markets`, `nft_contracts`, `asset_platforms` and `posts`, each up to `limit` rows (default 10, max 50). Every section is always an array, and a search with no matches returns empty arrays.

    - `markets` CoingeckoSearchMarket[]: Exchanges and other markets matching the query.

      - `name` string: Name of the exchange.
      - `type` string: Kind of market, for example `exchange`.
      - `url` string: Link to the exchange page on CoinGecko.
    - `nft_contracts` CoingeckoSearchNFTContract[]: NFT collections matching the query.
      - `address` string: Contract address of the collection.
      - `asset_platform_id` string: Id of the blockchain the contract is deployed on, for example `ethereum`.
      - `id` string: CoinGecko NFT collection id.
      - `name` string: Name of the NFT collection.
      - `symbol` string: Collection ticker symbol.
      - `url` string: Link to the collection page on CoinGecko.
    - `posts` CoingeckoSearchPost[]: CoinGecko articles matching the query.
