# Claim an existing unclaimed key for the signed-in account

`POST /api/v1/account/claim-key`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://crawdar.com`
- URL: `https://crawdar.com/api/v1/account/claim-key`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-api-key`
  - HTTP bearer

Sign in through /account and present the existing key in x-api-key or Authorization. Its allowance then belongs to that account.

## Response `200`

Key claimed.

## Other responses

- `401`: Signed-in ChatGPT account required.
- `404`: Key unavailable or already belongs to another account.
