# Return private key and CA bundle

`POST /SSL/fetch_key_and_cabundle_for_certificate`

This function extracts the private key and CA bundle information from a certificate.

**Note:**

Due to the limited field length of `HTTP GET` method calls, you **must** use the `HTTP POST` method. For this reason, you **cannot** use a cPanel or Webmail session URL to call this function.

## Query parameters

- `certificate` string, pem-certificate, required

## Response `200`

HTTP Request was successful.

      - `cab` string, pem-certificate — The CA bundle's contents (if applicable).
      - `crt` string, pem-certificate — The certificate's contents.
      - `crt_origin` string, username — The username that generated the certificate.
      - `domain` string, domain — The domain that generated the private key.
      - `ip` string, ipv4 — The IP address.
      - `key` string, pem-private-key — The private key.
      - `key_origin` string, username — The username that generated the private key.
      - `searched_users` string[] — The users that the system searched for certificate information.
      - `status` 0 | 1 — Whether the certificate is active. * `1` - Active. * `0` - Inactive.
      - `statusmsg` string — The certificate's status.
      - `user` string, username — The username that stores the private key.
    - `errors` string[], nullable — List of errors if the API failed.
    - `messages` string[], nullable — List of messages generated by the API.
    - `metadata` object
    - `status` 0 | 1 — * `1` - Success. * `0` - Failed. Check the `errors` field for more details.
    - `warnings` string[], nullable — List of warnings generated by the API. Warnings describe non-critical failures or other problematic conditions noted while running a API.
