# Reassess a Threat

`POST /api/threats/{id}/reassess`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.cotool.ai`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Manually trigger a fresh Threat-scoped assessment (relevancy gate -> exposure). Enqueues the assessment job; the run streams in the Threat detail activity timeline.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request — input validation failed or the request was malformed
- `401`: Unauthorized — missing or invalid API key / session
- `403`: Caller lacks agent.execute on the built-in Hunt agents.
- `404`: Threat not found.
- `500`: Internal server error
