# Submit thumbs feedback for a chat

`POST /api/chats/{chatId}/feedback`

## Request

Records a thumbs up/down for a chat if the user has access to it.

## Path parameters

- `chatId` string, uuid, required

## Request body

  - `label` 'up' | 'down', required
  - `chatEventId` string, uuid
  - `comment` string

## Response `200`

Successful response - no content

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request — input validation failed or the request was malformed
- `401`: Unauthorized — missing or invalid API key / session
- `403`: Forbidden — the authenticated user lacks the required permissions
- `500`: Internal server error
