# Confirm an alert feedback question

`POST /api/alerts/feedback-questions/{questionId}/confirm`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.cotool.ai`
- URL: `https://app.cotool.ai/api/alerts/feedback-questions/{questionId}/confirm`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Confirm a question across the escalated alerts the reviewer was shown, closing each with its disposition. Alerts that are no longer escalated or no longer offer the explanation are skipped. Rejecting the question stops any closes still to come.

## Path parameters

- `questionId` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- object
  - `alertIds` string[], required: The alerts the reviewer was shown for this question. Only these are closed, and only while they still offer it.
  - `commentBodyMarkdown` string: Optional detail appended to each closed alert as a comment

## Response `200`

Successful response

- object
  - `closedAlertIds` string[], required
  - `skippedAlertIds` string[], required: Alerts left alone because they are no longer escalated or no longer offer the explanation
  - `stoppedAlertIds` string[], required: Alerts not closed because the question was marked as not true partway
  - `closedCodeDetectionIds` string[], required: Code detections that produced the closed alerts

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request — input validation failed or the request was malformed
- `401`: Unauthorized — missing or invalid API key / session
- `403`: Forbidden — the authenticated user lacks the required permissions
- `404`: None of the alerts still offers the question.
- `409`: The question was marked as not true before any alert closed.
- `500`: Internal server error
