# Tide and current stations near a point

`GET /api/v1/find_stations`

## Request

Nearest tide stations (high/low times) and current stations (slack water, max flood/ebb) to a point, with distance and time zone. Coverage: Canada, the US, Norway, Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Australia (Queensland) and modelled tides elsewhere.

## Query parameters

- `lat` number, required: Latitude in decimal degrees (WGS84).
- `lng` number, required: Longitude in decimal degrees (WGS84), negative west of Greenwich.
- `kind` 'any' | 'tide' | 'current'
- `limit` integer

## Response `200`

Result as JSON

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad input
- `402`: Needs a Coast Map Pass key
- `429`: Rate limited
