# Hunting scouting picks (Camp Map Pass)

`GET /api/v1/hunting_spots`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://camp.cosmicotter.ca`
- URL: `https://camp.cosmicotter.ca/api/v1/hunting_spots`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Camp Map Pass only (CA$55 a year or CA$5 a month). Access points near 5-10 year old cut blocks and winter ranges, with the hunting unit and trail-camera signal. Seasons and bag limits are not included; the official regulations are the source for those.

## Query parameters

- `lat` number, required: Latitude in decimal degrees (WGS84).
- `lng` number, required: Longitude in decimal degrees (WGS84), negative west of Greenwich.
- `radius_km` number: Search radius in kilometres (default 50, at most 200).
- `limit` integer

## Response `200`

Result as JSON

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad input
- `402`: Needs a Camp Map Pass key
- `429`: Rate limited: wait and retry (see Retry-After)
