# Update a memory.

`PATCH /v1/memories/{id}`

Update a memory and return the full node.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Request body

- object
  - `title` string
  - `content` string
  - `type` string
  - `tags` string[]
  - `attributes` object
  - `parentId` string, nullable: Parent memory id; null detaches the memory. Cycles are rejected.

## Response `200`

Successful response.

- object: Full node as returned by the CortexPlus backend.
  - `relevance` object, nullable: Computed relevance (not stored): score 0-100, level, reason codes. null when no scorer applies.
    - `score` integer
    - `level` 'low' | 'normal' | 'high' | 'critical'
    - `reasons` string[]
    - `snoozedUntil` string, date, nullable
    - `aiDelta` integer

- `default`: Request failed.
