# Retrieve verifications

`GET /api/v1/verifications`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.getcortexapp.com`
- URL: `https://api.getcortexapp.com/api/v1/verifications`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns every verification in the workspace, one entry per entity and verification period, including entities that have not been verified yet. Each entry names the entity it belongs to, and who verified it once someone has.

A page of verifications

- ListVerifications: A page of verifications from across the catalog
  - `page` integer, required: Current page number, 0-indexed
  - `total` integer, required: Total number of results
  - `totalPages` integer, required: Total number of pages
  - `verifications` EntityVerificationWithEntity[], required
    - `entity` VerificationEntitySummary, required: Enough of an entity to identify it and look it up
      - `cid` string, required: Stable identifier
      - `name` string, required: Display name
      - `tag` string, required: The entity's tag
      - `type` string, required: The entity's type
    - `period` VerificationPeriod, required: A time-boxed entity verification campaign
      - `cid` string, required: Stable identifier for the period
      - `description` string: What owners are being asked to confirm
      - `endDate` string, date-time, required: When the period closes
      - `isActive` boolean, required: Whether the period is open today, and so still accepting verifications
      - `name` string, required: Display name
      - `startDate` string, date-time, required: When the period opens
    - `reason` string: Why the entity was marked incorrect, when the verifier supplied one
    - `status` 'PENDING' | 'VERIFIED_CORRECT' | 'VERIFIED_INCORRECT', required: PENDING until someone verifies the entity for this period, then the answer they gave
    - `verifiedAt` string, date-time: When the entity was verified
    - `verifiedByApiKey` ApiKeyVerifier: An API key that verified an entity
      - `name` string: The key's name, or null when it has none
    - `verifiedByUser` CortexUserSummary: The user who verified the entity. Null while the status is PENDING, and null when a global API key verified it.

## Other responses

- `429`: The client has exceeded the rate limit by performing too many requests in a short period. Retry the request after a delay.
