# Update user label assignments

`POST /api/v1/eng-intel/labels/users`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.getcortexapp.com`
- URL: `https://api.getcortexapp.com/api/v1/eng-intel/labels/users`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Assign user label values to user emails in bulk.

API key must have the `Edit user labels` permission.

## Request body

- BulkUserLabelAssignmentRequest
  - `userLabelAssignments` object, required: Map of user email to the list of user label values that should be assigned to the user

## Response `200`

Successfully updated user label assignments

- BulkUserLabelAssignmentResponse
  - `userLabelAssignments` object, required: Map of user email to the list of assigned user label values

## Other responses

- `429`: The client has exceeded the rate limit by performing too many requests in a short period. Retry the request after a delay.
