# Create a room

`POST /rooms`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://dataroom.corgi.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://dataroom.corgi.com/api/v1/rooms`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Create a room from a `name` (or an `aiPrompt` the server expands into a name, description, and folders) with an optional top-level `templateFolders` skeleton. Watermark and NDA are silently forced off when the plan lacks them. Feature- and limit-gated. Scope: `datarooms:write`.
