# Delete a room folder

`DELETE /rooms/{id}/folders/{folderId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://dataroom.corgi.com/api/v1`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Soft-deletes the folder and its whole subtree (subfolders + their files) with one shared timestamp, so Trash restores it as a unit. Scope: `datarooms:write`.

Deleted (`{ id, folderCount, fileCount }`)

## Other responses

- `404`: Not found
- `409`: Room is frozen
