# Effective settings for a link

`GET /rooms/{id}/effective`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://dataroom.corgi.com/api/v1`

Resolved settings for a link + content, each tagged with its source. Link grants only. Omit `linkId` for all live links. Target with `fileId` XOR `folderId` (or `content=root|file:<id>|folder:<id>`). Scope: `datarooms:permissions`.
