# Update a diligence task

`PATCH /rooms/{id}/checklist/{itemId}`

## Request

Partial update; `status` (TODO / IN_PROGRESS / COMPLETE) auto-manages completedAt, and `attachmentIds` fully replaces the set. An empty-string field is skipped (no-op) per the REST validation convention. Scope: `datarooms:write`.
