# Download the source file

`GET /documents/{id}/download`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://dataroom.corgi.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://dataroom.corgi.com/api/v1/documents/{id}/download`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns a time-limited presigned URL to the document's original file. Fails `409 no_version` if it has no file yet. Scope: `documents:read`.

- `id` string, required

## Response `200`

A presigned download URL

## Other responses

- `404`: Not found
- `409`: No file uploaded yet
