# Delete or archive an agreement

`DELETE /agreements/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://dataroom.corgi.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://dataroom.corgi.com/api/v1/agreements/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

A draft is deleted permanently; a sent agreement fails `409 immutable` (void it instead). Agreement templates are archived; pass `?purge=1` to permanently remove one already archived. Scope: `envelopes:write`.

## Response `200`

Deleted or archived

## Other responses

- `404`: Not found
- `409`: Sent agreements must be voided
