# Create a conversation

`POST /conversations`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://corebee.ai/api/v1`
- URL: `https://corebee.ai/api/v1/conversations`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Creates a conversation. If contact_id is omitted, a contact is resolved or created from contact_email / contact_phone / contact_name.

## Request body

- ConversationCreate: Provide contact_id, or any of contact_email / contact_phone / contact_name to resolve or auto-create the contact.

  - `assignee_id` string, uuid
