# Remove a PIN

`DELETE /v1/access-control/credentials/{id}/pin`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://developer.coram.ai`

- Auth: API key in header `X-Auth-Token`

Remove a user's PIN. Their account, card, and permissions remain unchanged.

## Path parameters

- `id` integer, required

## Response `204`

PIN removed, or no active PIN existed

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid user ID
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `403`: API key lacks write scope or an Access Control admin creator role
- `404`: User is not an existing Access Control member in this organization
- `500`: Server error
