# Replace the generic note

`PUT /api/notes/patient/{patient_id}`

Admin and customer care only. Patient user notes update

## Path parameters

- `patient_id` string, uuid, required: Patient UUID

## Request body

- UpdateUserNotesRequest: Payload for replacing a patient's generic note.
  - `notes` string, required: The note, replacing whatever is stored

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- UserNotesResponse: Response model for user notes.
  - `user_id` string, required: User UUID
  - `notes` string, nullable: Generic notes on the user
  - `notes_updated_at` string, date-time, nullable: When notes were last updated
