# Update instance email settings

`PATCH /settings/email`

Update instance-wide SMTP and Resend settings. Requires `write:sensitive` and a root-team token belonging to a root-team admin or owner.

## Response `200`

Updated instance email settings.

## Other responses

- `401` — Unauthenticated.
- `403` — Forbidden.
- `422` — Validation error.
