# Publish a variant

`POST /api/v1/variants/{id}/publish`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.convertflow.co`
- URL: `https://app.convertflow.co/api/v1/variants/{id}/publish`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Queues a publish of the variant's draft changes to the live campaign script (a backup is taken first). Returns 202 with a queued acknowledgement, not the variant — read GET /api/v1/variants/{id} to see `unpublished` flip to false once the job runs. Requires variants:publish.
