# Fetch the periodically-synthesized profile document for a subject (T412)

`GET /api/subjects/{subjectId}/profile`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://localhost:38200`
- URL: `http://localhost:38200/api/subjects/{subjectId}/profile`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in cookie `token`

Read-only — never triggers synthesis itself. Suitable for an application to prepend to its system prompt before a conversation with this end-user. See the `/profile/refresh` route for on-demand (re)synthesis.

- `subjectId` string, required

## Response `200`

The synthesized profile.

- `400`: subjectId is required.
- `401`: Missing or invalid credentials.
- `404`: No profile has been synthesized for this subject yet.
