# Get the answer to an Ask question

`GET /v2/teamspaces/{teamspaceId}/ask-sites/{siteKey}/questions/{questionId}`

The text one logged question was answered with. A question that was not answered, is not known to this site, or whose answer has expired returns `answer: null`, not an error.

## Response `200`

The answer

- AskAnswerResponse
  - `data` object, required
    - `answer` string, nullable, required: Null when the answer was not kept or has expired.
    - `truncated` boolean, required: True when the stored answer was cut to its size limit.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid teamspace id or parameters
- `401`: Unauthorized - Invalid or missing API key
- `403`: The caller cannot access this teamspace, or the key belongs to another teamspace
- `404`: No site with this key in this teamspace
- `500`: Internal Server Error
