# Run a monitor now

`POST /monitors/{monitor_id}/run`

Triggers an immediate run of the monitor outside its normal schedule. The run is queued and processed asynchronously.

## Path parameters

- `monitor_id` string, required

## Response `202`

Run queued

- MonitorsRunNowResponse
  - `monitor_id` string, required
  - `run_id` string, required — The queued run. Poll GET /monitors/{monitor_id}/runs or use it to correlate results.
  - `queued` boolean, required

- `401` — Unauthorized
- `404` — Not found
