# Submit agent feedback

`POST /feedback`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.context.dev/v1`
- URL: `https://api.context.dev/v1/feedback`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Report an API issue or documentation mismatch, including request IDs when available.

## Request body

- object
  - `request_id` string, uuid: The request_id of the API call the feedback is about, from its response body or X-Request-Id header.
  - `category` 'bug' | 'docs_mismatch' | 'friction' | 'feature_gap' | 'quality_degradation' | 'other', required: Kind of issue.
  - `note` string, required: What went wrong and what you expected instead.
  - `url` string, uri: The page the feedback is about, such as one page of a crawl or a docs page.
  - `tags` string[]: Labels for filtering usage in the dashboard.

## Response `200`

Feedback for this request_id was already recorded

- SubmitFeedbackResponse
  - `feedback_id` string, required: ID of the stored feedback.
  - `already_submitted` boolean, required: True when feedback for this request_id was already recorded; the original feedback_id is returned.
  - `key_metadata` KeyMetadata: Credits this request used and your remaining balance.
    - `credits_consumed` integer, required: Credits charged for this request.
    - `credits_remaining` integer, required: Credits remaining for your organization.
  - `request_id` string, uuid, required: Unique ID of this request, also in `X-Request-Id`. Include it when contacting support.

## Other responses

- `201`: Feedback recorded
- `400`: Bad request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded (10 requests per minute per organization).
- `500`: Feedback could not be saved. Retry the request.
