# Generate one photo for an AI photoshoot (sync)

`POST /v1/images/photoshoot`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://contentmaschine.ai/api`
- URL: `https://contentmaschine.ai/api/v1/images/photoshoot`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - OAuth 2 (authorization code, authorization URL `https://contentmaschine.ai/api/oauth/authorize`, token URL `https://contentmaschine.ai/api/oauth/token`)

Creates one new photo in the style of the reference images. `images` are base64
strings: the first is the blueprint, used only for the aspect ratio; the others are
style references. `changeOptions` names what may change (e.g. `Background`, `Pose`;
`Character` allows changing the subjects). Answers when the image is ready.

  - `images` string[], required: Base64 images: the blueprint first, then style references.
  - `changeOptions` string[], required: What the new photo may change.
  - `variety` 'Subtle' | 'Creative' | 'Diverse' | 'Experimental': How far the new photo may stray.
  - `prompt` string: Optional request for the new photo.

The generated photo.

## Other responses

- `400`: No images, no changeOptions, or an unusable image.
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `402`: Insufficient credits.
- `422`: The request was blocked by the model's content policy.
- `default`: Any other error. Every failure this API emits uses the same envelope; branch on `error.type`, never on `error.message`, and quote `error.correlation_id` to support.
