# Create user preferences

`PUT /v1/user_preferences`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://user-profile.cnstrc.com`
- URL: `https://user-profile.cnstrc.com/v1/user_preferences`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

**🔐 This endpoint requires [HTTP Bearer authentication](https://docs.constructor.com/reference/main-authentication#bearer-authentication).**
For authenticating with Bearer token, required scopes are: `user_profile.user_preferences(w)`.

Send user preferences for both individual and batch operations.

## Query parameters

- `key` string, required: The key of the index to use.

## Request body

- UserPreferencesBody
  - `user_preferences` UserPreferenceItem[], required
    - `preference_key` string, required
    - `preference_values` string[], required
    - `ui` string, required

## Response `204`

No Content

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid Request
- `401`: Authentication Error
- `403`: Permission Denied
