# Trigger knowledge graph discovery

`POST /api/graphiti/discover`

## Request

- Base URL: `/api/plugins/consensys-asko11y-app/resources` (relative, and the document was published on a file host, not at the API’s origin)
- URL: `/api/plugins/consensys-asko11y-app/resources/api/graphiti/discover`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in cookie `grafana_session`
  - HTTP bearer

Starts a background discovery agent session that explores the full observability environment and ingests findings into the knowledge graph. Returns immediately with a run ID that can be polled for status.

## Response `200`

Discovery run started

- object
  - `runId` string: Unique run ID for tracking the discovery session
  - `status` 'running': Initial status of the discovery run

## Other responses

- `400`: Knowledge graph not configured
