# Delete AI system

`DELETE /v1/projects/{project_id}/compliance/systems/{system_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.connic.co`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Delete a draft AI system that has no assessments, controls, or other governance records.

Other systems return 409; set their `status` to `retired` instead.

Required permission: `compliance.manage`.

  - `ok` boolean, required: Whether the operation succeeded.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
