# Replace approval notification settings

`PUT /v1/projects/{project_id}/approvals/config`

Replace the per-agent member notification settings for approval requests in an environment.

Required permission: `approvals.configure`.

- `project_id` string, uuid, required

## Query parameters

- `environment_id` string, uuid, required: Environment whose settings to replace.

## Request body

- ApprovalNotificationConfigUpdate[]: Settings that replace the environment's current ones. An empty list removes all.
  - `agent_name` string, required: Agent whose approval requests trigger the notification; `*` for all agents.
  - `user_id` string, nullable: Project member to notify. null applies to all members.
  - `enabled` boolean: Whether the member receives these notifications.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `403`: The API key lacks the required permission or access to the environment.
- `422`: Validation Error
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded.
