# Replace approval channel routes

`PUT /v1/projects/{project_id}/approvals/channel-routes`

## Request

Replace the routes that deliver an environment's approval requests to channels.

Required permission: `channels.manage`.

## Path parameters

- `project_id` string, uuid, required

## Query parameters

- `environment_id` string, uuid, required: Environment whose routes to replace.

## Request body

- ApprovalChannelRouteUpdate[]: Routes that replace the environment's current routes. An empty list removes all routes.
  - `channel_id` string, uuid, required: Channel in the project that receives the approval requests.
  - `agent_name` string: Agent whose approval requests are routed; `*` for all agents.
  - `enabled` boolean: Whether requests are delivered through this route.

  - `environment_id` string, uuid, required: Environment whose approval requests are routed.
  - `channel_id` string, uuid, required: Channel that receives the approval requests.

  - `enabled` boolean, required: Whether requests are delivered through this route.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `403`: The API key lacks the required permission or access to the environment.
- `422`: Validation Error
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded.
