# Assign user to time-off policy

`PUT /time-off/v1/time-off-policies/{timeOffPolicyId}/assignments`

Assign user to specified time-off policy.

- `timeOffPolicyId` string, required: The time off policy id

  - `userId` integer, required: The unique identifier of the user
  - `balance` number: The balance amount
  - `unit` 'hours' | 'days': An enumeration.
