# Get global compatibility level

`GET /config`

Retrieves the global compatibility level, compatibility group,
normalization, default metadata, and rule set.

## Response `200`

The global compatibility level.

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad Request
- `401` — Unauthorized
- `403` — Forbidden
- `429` — Rate Limit Exceeded
- `500` — Internal Server Error. Error code 50001 indicates a failure in the backend data store.
