# Issue the verification link of a crypto address book entry

`POST /v3/address-book/crypto/{id}/verification`

## Request

Issues the link at which the account holder proves that the account of a PENDING entry is theirs: the ownership proof of a self-hosted wallet, or your company's verification portal, where the documents of an account at a VASP are uploaded. The portal is the same for all your VASP entries. Every call issues a new link, so call again when a link is lost or has expired. When the link cannot be issued for the moment, the call fails with a server error and can be retried.

  - `expiresAt` integer, required: Request a new link after this time.
  - `verificationUrl` string, uri, required: The ownership proof of a self-hosted wallet, or your company's verification portal, where the documents of an account at a VASP are uploaded. A new link is issued on every request.

## Other responses

- `400`: The verification of your business is not complete yet, the ownership of a self-hosted wallet cannot be proven for an individual merchant or on its network, or its ownership proof cannot be started, or the address book feature is disabled
- `403`: Not authenticated by an API key, no authenticated merchant in the request context, the entry belongs to another merchant, or an API key without payouts enabled verifying a withdrawal destination
- `404`: No crypto address book entry has this ID
- `409`: The entry is not PENDING, or the holder of its self-hosted wallet has proven the ownership already, so there is nothing to verify
