# Delete a crypto address book entry

`DELETE /v3/address-book/crypto/{id}`

## Request

Retires an entry by transitioning it to status DELETED. The entry is not physically removed; it is kept for history and can no longer be used. An entry in a terminal status (REJECTED or DELETED) cannot be deleted.

- `id` string, required

## Response `204`

Crypto address book entry successfully deleted

## Other responses

- `400`: The address book feature is disabled
- `403`: Not authenticated by an API key, no authenticated merchant in the request context, the entry belongs to another merchant, or an API key without payouts enabled retiring a withdrawal destination
- `404`: No crypto address book entry has this ID
- `409`: The entry is REJECTED or already DELETED
