# Delete profile file node

`DELETE /v1/profile/{userId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.configure.dev`
- URL: `https://api.configure.dev/v1/profile/{userId}`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-Key` and HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-Key` and API key in header `X-User-Id`

Requires a secret key. Federated users are namespace-fenced to /agents/{resolved-agent}; unlinked developer-scoped profiles may also manage root profile paths.
